I have this book, as well as one other in the series. I think these would be fine for y/o kids, but too scary for a 5 y/o. (From a parent’s perspective.) I don’t think it would scare my child, so much as I don’t want her mind especially tuned into this type of material/5(7).

Love this as well as the "Don't Push the Button," and "Don't Push the Button Christmas Edition." These books will have little ones from 2yrs. to about 5 year olds giggling.
